this is nice, though oily. there is rice, korean ricecake, chicken and vegetables. its like a massive friend rice.
winter sonata is everywhere! from this famous shopping street in chuncheon to nami island. both are near each other. there was even a street sign on the main road, telling ppl about the location of the filming site.
Nami-Island and the neat rows of trees. its like our sentosa, a relaxing island.
the 38 parallel. the line which divides north and south korea before the 1950korean war. its now a resting station.
this picture and the one below is taken from a peak at the resort. 20mins cable car ride up to the peak and another 20mins down. i love this two pictures the most, because i look cool in both. wahaha. i think this place is one of the highlights of the trip.
after cheju, we went to yong-pyong ski resort. they are famously known for the filming of winter sonata. along the way up to the ski resort, the some mountains still had snow on them. so it was quite a sight. especially when Singapore do not have any distinct season.

this is Dragon Head Rock. form by the solidification of lava. this place is in cheju island, which is boring! but for first timer to korea, just go see look.

the types of kimchi available. most expensive is the ginseng one that is served to the kings in the past.
we learn to make kim chi here! the teacher demostrate how to make the chili paste. all we did was to smear chili on the cabbage. this place ties themselves with DA CHANG JIN.
