oh freak! its 4am and i am not asleep yet. mind you, i did not take any naps yesterday alright.

went for the food and hotel show at expo with hy. an eye opener! its an international trade show, held every two years. it cost 80bucks to go in, probably to deter ppl who want cheap gains. but none the less, these ppl are still plenty full in spore. OMG! saw a man stealing frozen mussels, he grab a handful and threw it into any of his bags. so sick can! those are frozen staff as well. haha. they had good food for sampling, but discriminate policy there was. samples were not dished out readily for us (student of course). besides, its not those show where you get to try new maggie mee or soya bean milk... we tried gelatoes from three booth and were full after that. haha. there was this really nice cake as well, which will probably go for 5bucks at cafes.

oh, my main reason of staying up is to play with my new toy. finally able to do some cool stuff with it already. and in the process, it make me realised the power of forums.

ntu interview did not go down too well. beside the crux of the interview --- "you have a consistent bad grades in english, how do you think you will be able to cope in our course that requires lots of essay skills." excuse me, i write h2 essay for fun during alevels! haha. i doubt i will get offered a place in their ultra hot accountancy course anyway. the reason being hot because its 3 year direct honours, as compared to the rest. well, not to disheartened by it though. but getting accepted will make me feel better. but if they offer me, i might get tempted, and then regret for 3 years. haha. pardon me.

the next step

hi guys, i am back for another boring post. i hope this post wont sound like i am some EXCELLENT STUDENT/BIG SHOT/PROUD. i am just weighing my options.

anyway, i am down for another interview, an unexpected one. NTU accountancy called me at 9am Friday morning to go for an interview. according to my cousin and the website, the interview is meant for borderline cases. yeah, all thanks to my excellent GP grades. seriously this interview bothers me quite a lot. it meant my "supposed thinking of getting into every course" is up in smoke. furthermore, its in boon lay. very very convenient. having to travel 2hour for a 45min event really puts me off. and this made me have second doubt on choosing ntu, if i get offered a place.

oh well, as you all know, smu is my preferred choice. the fact of it being near my place is a superficial and naive reason. i want smu because, i think i will open up there. come on, they forced you to speak there. if you dont, you get no marks. i think this makes smu very stressful because you have to be on your toes every minute. my brother told me its pretty much a project based school. and that his friend is suffering in the business faculty. SMU will make a good training ground for a small small girl in a big big world. i am pretty sure of this. but, the higher school fees and possibly of more hippies there will put me off. lets just hope that they offer me a place.

how can i miss out NUS? to sum up, its mr reliable, mr trustworthy and mr safe. not forgetting mr traditional. haha. i dunno la.

the third paragraph is what i really want. but my second paragraph kinda say "stop, you are not that good after all!" yeah, worries never seems to ceased in life. first, results. now, getting into a school. next, friend you meet there. the list just keeps piling. till the day you die i think.

to sum up, it was a great weekend.

a new toy, which is really cool.

an outing with jc mates that i will most definitely want to keep the relationship going.

a wonderful Singapore flyer ride with cam-whoring for 30mins, fun with family and dinner at popeyes.

but most magnificently, it will be the breathtaking match that you cannot take your eyes away. for almost 90mins, it was end to end stuff. too fast for the camera to catch in some situations. man u ran out deserving winners i would say. in my opinion, winner in football are those who take their chances and SCORE. man u did, and they won. with this win, we are back in the driving seat for the tittle. its ours to lose now. come snatch it, Chelsea. we will break your 4 yrs home record and win it at the bridge. i am loving football more and more.

lonely saturday

its saturday today. a few days ago, my saturday looks promising. because it was planned for me to go sp to watch canoe polo, followed by cycling and dinning at east coast. but in actual, i did none of the above. all i did was to go suntec with mum and bro for lunch, and buy myself a new toy.

so it was my first lesbian party last night/morning at st James. an eye opener for me. WTF! how can girls/couple dance till like that. all that kissing going on. and the very o p e n mini talk show held by the BA-BOP. quite funny. i wont mind going again, esp when there will be those bung hunt or something. haha. oh, who say go clubbing must dance? cant i just stand at the dance floor and enjoy the music?! oh, if you are afraid of smelly, touchy and irritating guys at clubs, go les party. almost guy free, so very safe. in a sense that only girls will touch you.

its been a busy week for me. Monday and Tuesday have been spent doing tuition. so tiring to go to bukit batok. thought tuition is 2 hours, but i take another 2 hours to go there. and great, my cousin just call to ask me to take over a pri 5 boy in bedok for three weeks. i am still thinking because its soo far. but at the same time, i want to return him the favour. so what to do?
anyone wants to take the job?

yesterday, i went for the SMU interview. i am glad that it went well, in a sense that i was able to contribute in the discussions. i think the question are quite easy, almost like GP. coincidentally, there was a jj girl in the interview group as well. talk to her while walking to national library. i hope i get into smu, but i dun wanna put so much hopes into it first. greater hopes always bring a bigger disappointment.

been working hard for the past few days. so its time to slack again. earning money is tough. spending money is easy. brought 50bucks out and i only have 8bucks in my wallet now. hia... but i am proud to say that i dun take allowance from my parents anymore. transport and stuff are by my own now. sometimes, i even give my mum money.

alright, got to go. maybe afternoon nap or mysoju time.

busy bee

its been a busy weekend and a busy week ahead.

saturday started with a trip down to orchard to get POA textbook from ren shan. and then to bukit batok to give tuition. really tiring to travel and talking for almost 2hrs. after that, met michelle to go jurong west sports stadium (a last minute decision). BOY, boon lay mrt changed a lot. its been a few months since i been there. the last time was on the last day of ALEVELS. the only thing that din change was the crowd level. and the smelly chocolate smell. i will never miss those days. oh, we went to jurong west to meet myra. she was there for a floorball competition. great time catching up with her and mic. reach home at about 8plus that day.

today, was suppose to have tuition at 9. it was cancelled because the person have to work. slept late and met eileen and freddy for lunch. lmy was suppose to come. but could not, due to some crap reason as stated by her. tell me how crap it is when we meet. haha. went to ice cream gallery and they finally tasted the heavenly ice cream. haha. ICG is much much better than swensen. they make swensen look like your KINGS and MARIGOLD can?! they left at about 5plus and i stayed on in ICG. had a great time with mic and my mum.

next week, i have tuition from monday to thursday. 1 to 3 pm. money money, keep rolling rolling. haha. i am quite scared that the girl wont pay me on the last day man. really. oh, i will be going to SMU for interview as well. darm scare man! to me, it will be a disgrace to fail the interview. according to reliable sources, they will be asking me about economic policy or current affairs. time to pick up my notes again. not only that, i have to plan what to wear as well. DOUBLE HEADACHE! oh best part, i THINK my interview is on wednesday.

oh, i msg my dearest form teacher to ask her for a testimonial which is require by SMU. but she did not even give me a reply. thanks a lot man!! NOT WONDER I LOVE JJ SOO MUCH! not to mention that mrs low, my form teacher 3 years ago said she can write a new one but i will have to remind her of my qualities. see the difference. besides, heard from eileen that some of the class guys asked from her as well. and they were given i think. correct me on this. does it kill to reply a msg?! i will give you 20cents, KEEP THE CHANGE!

i have been quite busy the past few days.

Sunday, went to jb. not much to comment on except that the food was cheap. i dun think it was dirt cheap la. din eat as much as jac too. glad that we made it back safe and sound as well. =)

Tuesday, went back to smss. Durga and Jd made us wait for almost 2.5hrs before they make their star appearance! and so we spent a good few hours in school. dunno what i was doing there as well. there was not much changes in school, apart from the canteen. new painted wall and seats to be precise. glad to say the teacher still remember us. by our looks i think, doubt they can remember our names, esp yvonne's and mine. the few are pretty famous like durga, jd and debra. mrs low was nice to invite us into the staff room to chat. then we talk of the good old days and most of the time, there will be joy and laughter. oh, Mr anthony can still remember our class! he said we were small like 26 and that we got together to do practice papers. spot on man! no nonsense man really!

yesterday, i brought brandon to the dentist. there goes his two front teeth. still cute though. its easier to feed him now, cause the spoons goes into his mouth with ease. haha. spent our time in suntec Popular before sending him to school. spent about 40bucks on cab fare. the first trip was like 27bucks! from grandma's place to mt sina and to suntec. reach home at about 1plus. really tiring man! went jogging too. haha. more like walking. at least i try to exercise and lose some weight.

today, finally got back some slacking time. haha. that explains why my fingers are dancing on the keyboard now.

anyway, if ALL GOES WELL, i might be packing my bags for a big holiday in June. there is IF ALL GOES WELL. but i will become a pauper if i go. so stay tune for this space.
