It's been discovered that boys and girls use social networking sites, like MySpace,for different purposes. An American survey has found that girls log on to reinforcepre-existing friendships, while boys use the networks to flirt and make new friends.There are more than 100,000 registered MySpace users in Singapore, with four-fifthsof these below the age of 20. Its marked popularity has not been lost on PM Lee, whowondered aloud in his National Day rally speech whether the People's Action Partyshould use MySpace to reach the young.
